Learners, staff and supporters of Highgate’s Harington Scheme celebrated last week at their annual awards presentation, in the presence of Haringey Councillor Sheila Peacock and Councillor Barry Edwards, Deputy Mayor of Islington.
The event, which is alway one of the highlights of the charity’s year, celebrated the success and progress of the Scheme’s learners in the past twelve months and, as ever, was a moving tribute to their determination and desire to learn.
The annual celebration is a tribute to the hard work put in by our staff, volunteers and learners over the last year and, following our great Ofsted inspection in May 2012, we're all very proud to be part of such a unique and successful organisation.
