A celebration of Art, Music, Drama, Film & Opera: Harmoniemusik Chamber Ensemble, Merry Opera Pirates of Penzance, Bonnie & Clyde film; Trinity Laban Dance, Finchley Children's Music Group of Mixed Voice Choirs, Travels around Cranford - a humorous look at 1830s life, A Pleasing Melancholy - Chelys consort of viols, Young Artists perform music by Albrechtsberger, Stamitz, Gliere and Beethoven, Paprika - Balkan music which is a whirlwind performance of frenzied virtuosity. This year the East Finchley Arts Festival is supporting Noah's Ark Children's Trust and Highgate's HARINGTON SCHEME which is raising money for a new Employability Hub.
Enjoy the art exhibition every evening from 6pm during the Festival and at weekends from 12 noon until 10pm. Art of every kind is for sale - original oils and watercolours, prints, digital art, photographic art, ceramics, sculpture and individually designed jewellery. Twenty-five artists, local and international, are taking part and 40% of the selling price of each work sold will be donated to the Harington Scheme and Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.
